Engertal, a company in the engineering sector, wanted to centralize the intake and handling of reports and manifestations in a formal channel, in compliance with Brazil's Law 14,457/2022 and the NR-01 update, which added psychosocial risks to the PGR risk management program. To do so, it implemented the SIG Virtual Ethics Channel, by Mupi Systems.
The channel brings anonymous whistleblowing and identified ombudsman reports into the same infrastructure: a public form with no login, protocol and password for tracking, secure communication between reporter and team, and an immutable audit log. AI-assisted triage classifies each report's type, severity, and theme and suggests actions, always validated by a human analyst.
With the channel live, every report becomes auditable evidence, and Engertal's integrity program gains a reliable listening tool, also aligned with the best practices of ISO 37001 and ISO 37301.

Ethics Channel (SIG Virtual)
Centralize Engertal's reports and manifestations in a formal, confidential, auditable channel, in compliance with Law 14,457/2022 and the NR-01 update on psychosocial risks.
1. Regulatory compliance
Law 14,457/2022 requires a whistleblowing channel in companies with a CIPA committee, and the NR-01 update added psychosocial risks, such as harassment and overload, to the PGR. Handling this by email or a mailbox produces no auditable evidence. The Ethics Channel structured categories aligned with NR-01, turning every report into evidence for the PGR and for audits.
2. Reporter confidentiality and trust
Trust in the channel depends on protecting whoever reports. The form is public and requires no login, with full anonymity or voluntary identification. Each record generates a unique protocol and password, and communication between reporter and team happens without exposing identities.
3. Structured triage and management
AI-assisted triage classifies each report's type, severity, and theme in seconds and suggests next actions, always validated by a human analyst. SLAs per report type, assigned owners, and an immutable audit log complete the handling flow.
